logo.gif (7754 bytes)The Institute for Americanism investigates the ancient American life from all sides, i.e. in the field of politics, law, the press, language, history, literature, art and culture.

We are a pluralistic non-profit institution. Article 3 of our Statutes, published in "Le Moniteur belge", presents the aims as follows:

"The target of the institute is to advance the study of the American civilization and to spread the acquired knowledge. The institute will organize lectures, museum excursions, study visits, study tours, scientific meetings, it will compose a library, a videotheque and a slides library, exhibitions will be organized and publications will be put out."
