Ward Jansen

Ward Jansen was born in december 1976 on a cold winter night. At the age of 12 he discovered metal music, with bands like Guns 'n Roses, Whitesnake and Aerosmith. At that same age he playbacked the song Paradise city in his school. His musical interests expanded with band like Judas Priest, Motorhead, Metallica and Iron Maiden. At the age of 15 he went to the highschool Don Bosco in Haacht where he met Axl who was also interested in the same music. Later that year Steven Vits joined them. A few years later the band was born. Rehearsals and gigs are the things he now always looks foreward to. In 1996 he graduated from high school and started to study at the Sociale Hogeschool in Heverlee. He currently works as a social worker in a psychiatric hospital.

Warre plays with : Grassroots, Aria Pro, Ibanez, Marshall, Laney, D'Addario, Dunlop, Boss.

Warre's favourite bands : Children of Bodom, Judas Priest, Gorefest, the early Metallica, the early Paradise Lost, Pantera, Slayer and Fear Factory.
