Kieldrecht is een deelgemeente van Beveren. Het dorp ligt in het noorden van het Waasland, zo'n 20 km ten westen van Antwerpen, op de Belgisch-Nederlandse grens. Het laatste nieuws uit Beveren en omgeving hoor je op Radio Beverland.

Hoe er geraken?

Met de auto
Neem de expressweg N49 (dezelfde baan noemt ook A11 of E34) Knokke - Zelzate - Antwerpen, afrit nummer 10: " Vrasene", richting Verrebroek en Kieldrecht.

Voor het Internationaal Volleybaltornooi moet u in Verrebroek rechts afslaan, onmiddellijk na het benzinestation Q8. U komt kan na anderhalve kilometer vanzelf bij de terreinen van het tornooi.

Voor de sporthal van Kieldrecht, blijft u rechtdoor rijden, en in Kieldrecht rijdt u rond de kerk. In de Dorpsstraat vindt u na een hondertal meter aan de rechterkant het clubhuis van Asterix. Vijftig meter verder draait U links de Molenstraat in. Neem dan de tweede straat rechts, en onmiddellijk de eerste links. Zo komt u op de (kleine) parking van Sporthal Kriekeputte.

Met het openbaar vervoer
Er rijden sporadisch bussen van De Lijn vanuit Sint Niklaas, Antwerpen of Beveren naar Kieldrecht. De uurregeling is echter niet afgestemd op de activiteiten van Asterix.

Een taxi van Antwerpen naar Kieldrecht kost ongeveer 40 Euro.

Kieldrecht is a village some 20 km West of Antwerp (Belgium), located right on the border between Belgium and the Netherlands. It is part of the city of Beveren.

How to get there

By public transport:
It is a challenging expedition to come to Kieldrecht with public transportation. Only a few busses run from Sint Niklaas, Antwerp or Beveren.

Teams coming to the International Volleyball Tournament by public transport should contact Asterix for instructions.

A taxi from Antwerp will cost about 40 Euro.

By car:
Take the Expressway from Antwerp to Zelzate (this highway is called E34, N49 or A11), take exit #10: "Vrasene" towards the North (Kieldrecht is indicated).

For the International Volleyball Tournament, turn right in Verrebroek, right after the Q8 petrol station. Follow this road for about a mile, and you will see the location of the Tournament.

For the sports hall of Kieldrecht, follow the main road to the next village (Kieldrecht), turn around the church, you are then in the Dorpsstraat. The club house of Asterix is on your right hand side some 150 meter further. For the sports hall, drive another 50 meter, take the street on the left (Molenstraat), then the second on the right, and then the first street on the left will take you right on to the (small) parking lot of the sporths hall.
